Having been one of the founding members of Cross Cut Saw in the late 70's I remember driving out to Bannerman Rd. late one Friday Night with Dave Hurt (the other guitar player) and Bernie Powers (our bass player). We had heard there was a real deal music joint, just North of Tallahassee. The owner's name was Smitty and we had heard that bands could come out on Friday or Saturday nights and work for whatever admission money people were willing to pay at the door.

When we arrived the place looked deserted but the lights were on so we audaciously made our way in. As we passed through the door we were quickly eyeballed by a tall thin stately black man, who looked to be about 60. He was standing behind a long wooden bar right across from the front door. The room was long and narrow with a few dozen wooden tables with 4 wooden chairs each. All the way down on the left against the wall there was a small stage with an open space in front so people could dance. We didn't know Smitty was Smitty as he sized us up walking through the door, so one of us asked, are you Smitty? Little did I know at the time, but his simple answer: "who wants to know?' was the beginning of a lifetime journey in the music business!

After performing in the 80's and then in the nineties with Daytona Music Legend Charles Atkins, I started Blues Boys and Divas which just a few years later morphed into Blues Pros LLC Talent. After initially working with Ronnie Narmour, who was based in Austin Texas and was the booking agent for the entire Antone's Records Artist Roster, my agenda was to launch emerging talent. The strategy was to book solid tours so that the Artists could work almost everyday and make enough money to pay themselves as well as cover expenses and sell some CD's which also helps build their fan bases. This was before any type of social and we were on Tour often 30 days at a time, working almost every single night.

Fast forward 25 years into a post-pandemic entertainment world, much has changed and our musical focus now is on quality over quantity. It's not about how many notes we can play or about how many drinks our fans can consume, it's about providing quality musical shows and heartfelt personal experiences that put infectious smiles on the faces of our fans, as we spread unbridled joy to each other sharing fun musical evenings together and spreading good vibes and love to everyone we meet along our journeys.

It's in this spirit that I present PEACH MUSIC GROUP featuring the immensely talented Victor Wainwright & his Grammy nominated Band The Train AND JP Soars and Damon Fowler (whom I've been working with since he graduated from high school) who join Victor in their Supergroup SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY ++ MEGATRAIN featuring a host of special guest Artists, Dave Gross, Dennis Gruenling, Gino Matteo, Arthur Neilson, Sam Butts and many more. Stay tuned as we add more great Artists and as we launch more Artist Tours bringing you more Great Shows!
